The 2026-27 respiratory season is almost here! The Washington State Childhood Vaccine Program (CVP) expects that ordering will begin in mid-August. The WVA, WCAAP, and the WA DOH have developed this one-page document for provider offices to download, print, and share within their practices.
INFLUENZA UPDATE
The FDA and CDC have continued last season’s trivalent formulation for the fall/winter 2026-27 respiratory season. The CPT and NDC codes are posted to the WVA Vaccine Assessment Grid. Three of the four NDCs have a $22.00 WVA Assessment Grid Amount and one has a $39.00 Grid Amount. Please review your billing system setup. Until the 2026-27 influenza products have arrived in provider offices, continue to submit DBAs under the prior season NDCs.
COVID-19 UPDATE
There will be all new NDCs for COVID-19 for the 2026-27 respiratory season, and the WVA will update the WVA Vaccine Assessment Grid and notify providers and payers as soon as the new NDCs and Grid Amounts are available.
RSV UPDATE
Both nirsevibab and clesrovimab continue to be available. There is a new NDC code for ABRYSVO that has been posted to the WVA Vaccine Assessment Grid.
